Sam Huston, 84, of Denver died April 24. Services were April 27, with burial at Mount Olivet Cemetery.

Mr. Huston was born in Winterset, Iowa, on July 3, 1916. He married Martha Starr, 1942. He served in the Army during World War II. He owned AG Huston Market. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and AARP.

Survivors include his wife; daughters Noreen Yegge of Denver, Mary Doud of Florida; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

Sam Huston of Denver, a business owner, died April 24. He was 84.

Services were Friday at Olinger Wadsworth Mortuary. Interment was in Mount Olivet Cemetery.

He was born July 3, 1916, in Winterset, Iowa. On Oct. 5, 1942, he married Martha Starr in Denver. He owned AG Huston Market.

He served in the Army as a master sergeant during World War II. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, ARA, AARP and Independent Grocers of America.

He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Noreen C. Yegge, Denver, and Mary E. Doud, Orlando, Fla.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Contributions may be made to the Hospice of Peace, 2420 W. 26th Ave., Suite 200-D, Denver, CO 80211.
