Local News -

David (John) Marvin Couch, the six year old son of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Couch of Indianola, did not survive the operation for appendicitis, which was performed last Friday.

Mrs. Couch and her daughter, Elizabeth and son, Dwight, have been here since the funeral at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Edwards. Mrs. Couch and children returned to Indianola mother who will stay several days.
