Mrs. J. N. Tucker passed away Friday morning at ther home after two weeks illness.
The funeral was held at the home Sunday afternoon conducted by Rev. Hohanshelt of Winterset. Burial was made at the Moon cemetery.
The friends of the family extend their sympathy.

Mrs. Emma Irvin was born near McKeeport, Penn. April 13, 1859 and died at her home near Macksburg after an illness of several months, Jan. 8, 1915, aged 55 years, 3 months and 25 days.
She was united in marriage to John Tucker Feb. 6, 1879 at Pearlee, Iowa. To them seven children were born. Three died in infancy. The twins, John and Richard died and are buried at What Cheer, Iowa and Grant at Macksburg. The living are Ira of Macksburg, Jessie of Des Moines, Mrs. Irene Carey of Winterset and Charles at home.
When a young woman her parents first lived at Fairfield, Iowa. After marriage Mr. and Mrs. Tucker lived in Illinois for about a year, then moved to Lorimor in 1892 and in 1908 to near Macksburg.
Mrs. Tucker was highly regarded as a good woman and kind neighbor. She gave her time and energy to her family to which she was entirely devoted.
The funeral services were conducted from the home by the Rev. W. G. Hohanshelt, pastor of the M.E. Church in Winterset at 2 o'clock Sunday and interment was in Macksburg cemetery.
