Obituary -

Henry H. Seams was born on May 12, 1855, in Decatur county, Illinois and moved with his parents to Marion county, Iowa where he grew to manhood.

He remained single and since his father was killed in the Civil War, cared for his aged mother, who died five years ago.

Since then, part of the time he has lived in his home in St. Charles and the remainder of the time with his sister, Mrs. James Cox, where he died suddenly of heart failure on Friday morning, Jan. 14, 1910.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. E. C. Nichols at the Christian church Sunday morning, January 16th at 11 o'clock, interment being made in the St. Charles cemetery.
