Obituary

Gottleib Mann was born in Germany in 1823 and died in Macksburg Sept. 9th, 1908. He came to Pennsylvania when about five years of age. Later he removed to Illinois, where he lived but a short time. After a short stay in Missouri he moved to Macksburg, where he resided at the time of his death. He was married to Lucinda Fishel in 1848. To this union was born one daughter, who together with two grandchildren, survive him.

The funeral was held from the Baptist church, conducted by Rev. E. E. Bennett, of the Christian church of Winterset.

Note: Burial was made in the Moon cemetery.
