The remains of Mrs. Ethel Newton White who died in her home at Chicago of diabetes were brought to Truro Friday morning. Short funeral services were held at the W. D. Kale Funeral parlor conducted by the Rev. Randels with interment at the Hartman cemetery.
The body was accompanied by her husband, Clark White. Mr. Newton, her father was unable to make the trip on account of illness.

Word was received here last Wednesday of the death of Mrs. Ethel Newton White of Chicago, Illinois, who died Wednesday. Mrs. White formerly lived here and was well known in the community.
The body was brought here for burial and a short funeral service was held from funeral chapel at W. D. Kale's store, Rev. Randals officiating. Burial was in the Hartman cemetery.
