Death of Daniel Francis

Daniel Francis, at one time a resident of Penn township and a member of the legislature from this county, died at his home in Des Moines, May 29th. Mr. Francis was born in Ohio in 1826. Moved to Madison county in 1855. He is survived by his wife and two brothers. His remains were laid to rest on the old farm in Penn township.
