Mrs. Hiram Phillips, of South township, who has been suffering for several years with a cancer, died Monday and was buried at the Blair Chapel cemetery Tuesday afternoon. She leaves a husband, two sons and three daughters, a mother and three sisters to mourn her death.

Mrs. Hiram Phillips, of South township, passed away on Monday of this week after a long illness and much suffering from cancer. Burial was held Tuesday at the Blair Chapel cemetery.

The deceased was a daughter of Mrs. Rosa Walker, of Union township, and a sister of Mrs. Avery Wheeler, Mrs Frank McCleeary, of Union township, and of Chas. McCleeary, of South township.
