Dennis David McDonald, 63, of Omaha, Neb., died Jan. 30, 2010.
A private burial will be held at a later date.
Dennis McDonald was born May 23, 1946, to Cyrus B. and N. Geraldine McDonald and grew up in Madison and Dallas counties. He attended school in DeSoto and Winterset, graduating from Winterset High School in 1964. Dennis served in the United States Air Force from 1966 to 1970. His marriage to Sue Harman of Des Moines took place in 1966. Dennis and Sue, along with their three sons, lived in Kansas City and Omaha. He was employed by Federal Aviation Administration.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Cyrus B. McDonald; and a sister, Nancy Grace McDonald.
He is survived by three sons — Tracy, Kevin and Kenneth, all of Omaha, Neb.; two brothers, Frank A. McDonald (Mary Margaret) of Ivins, Utah, and Clark Joseph McDonald of Des Moines; and two sisters, Teressa M. Casson of Winterset and Delpha Trindle (Barry) of Earlham.
