JERRY HULBERT, Guntersville, AL

Jerry Hulbert of Guntersville, AL died Monday, January 25, 2010, in Shepherd's Cove Hospice after a short illness. He was 62.

He was raised in St. Charles, IA, son of Lester and Mae Hulbert. He retired from the Army in 1996 after serving 26 years of honorable service.

He is survived by his wife, Georgia, sons, Kirk and Sean, stepchildren, Shane and Brooke, brothers, Frank (Wanda) Hulbert, Dave (Marian) Hulbert and Roger (Carmen) Hulbert, and mother, Mae Hulbert. He was preceded in death by his father, Lester Hulbert.

A memorial service will be held later.

Survivors include his wife, Georgia, sons Kirk and Sean, stepchildren, Shane and Brooke, brothers, Frank (Wanda) Hulbert, Dave (Marion) Hulbert, and Roger (Carmen Hulbert) and mother Mae Hulbert. He was preceded in death by his father, Lester Hulbert. Jerry was a retired Army Major.
