Glenn Devault Died Friday

Glenn A. Devault of near Earlham died Friday, Sept.1, at Memorial Hospital in Winterset. He was 68 years of age.

Mr. Devault had been a resident of Madison County since 1940. He engaged in farming and operating a trucking business here.

He was a native of Otis, Colo., where he was born June 5, 1904, a son of Allen and Elsie Craven Devault. He was married in Des Moines April 15, 1939 to Leora Wilson, who survives him.

In addition to his wife, he leaves two daughters, Mrs. Marguerite Owns of Anaheim, Calif., and Mrs. Helen Aitkens of Osprey, Fla.; five grandchildren, four great grandchildren; a brother, Forrest Devault of Steamboat Springs, Colo.; and a sister, Mrs. Thelma ___ of Kent, Wash.

Funeral services were held Monday from the Collins Funeral home in Winterset, conducted by the Rev. John E. Fink, pastor of the First United Presbyterian church here.

Burial was made in the Winterset Cemetery.
