VIRGLE GRIPP OF DES MOINES DIES

Virgle Gripp of Des Moines, a native of St. Charles, died Sunday, April 6, at the Des Moines hospital He was 64 years if age,

Mr. Gripp had lived in Des Moines for 30 years. At the time of his death he was a route man for Duncan Sanitary Supply Company. Previously he had been a maintenance Supervisor for J. C. Penney Company for 22 years.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lillian Gripp; three sons, Merrill Gripp of Indianola, Doyle Gripp of Chariton and Charles Gripp of Des Moines; a stepson, James A. Davis of West Des Moines; two brothers, Ernest Gripp of Minneapolis, Minn. and Harold Gripp of Osceola; a sister, Mrs. Virginia Holcomb of Indianola; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday of last week from Hamilton’s Funeral Home in Des Moines, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens.
