GLADYS HAYNES OF ST. CHARLES DIES

Mrs. Roy Haynes of St. Charles died last Wednesday, April 9, at her home in that community. She was 74 years of age.

Mrs. Haynes was born in Madison county Feb. 14, 1895. She was the former Gladys Robinett, daughter of George and Adda Vanhorn Robinett. She was married at Winterset on Sept. 11, 1912, to Roy Haynes. All of their married life has been spent in Madison county.

She was a member of the Methodist church.

Mrs. Haynes leaves her husband; a son, Bernal Haynes of St. Charles; two grandchildren; three great grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Golda Haynes of West Des Moines.

Funeral services were held Friday from the St. Charles United Methodist church, in charge of the pastor, the Rev. James Louk. Burial was made in the St. Charles cemetery.
