FORMER RESIDENT DIES IN ARIZONA

Funeral services were held April 14 from the St. Charles Christian church for Mrs. Beatrice A. Christianson of Mesa, Ariz. Mrs. Christianson had died at Mesa April 9 at the age of 58 years.

She was the former Beatrice Moyer, daughter of Harry and Cora Cameron Moyer, and was born at Menlo July 24, 1910. She was a beautician by trade. She had moved to Tucson, Ariz. 11 years ago from Lake Mills, Ia. And had lived in Mesa the last five years.

She was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran church in Mesa.

Surviving are her husband, Evan Christianson of Mesa; two sons, Dudley Stringer of Mesa and Richard Stringer of Des Moines, two daughters, Mrs. Audrey Llewelyn of St. Charles and Mrs. Patricia French of Seaford, Del. Her father and step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Moyer of Stuart; a brother, Fon Moyer of Stuart; and two sisters, Mrs. Sylvia Purviance of Des Moines and Mrs. Bessie Swanson of San Diego, Calif. She also leaves 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

The Rev. Tom Foglesong of Des Moines conducted the funeral services April 14. Burial was made in the St. Charles cemetery.
