Obituary

Died at her home in Scott township, March 17, 1904, Mrs. Mary Margaret Harrell, wife of Ed. Harrell, aged 64 years, 2 months and 17 days.

Mary Margaret Johnson was born in Fountain county, Ind., Dec. 31, 1839. She was married to Mr. E. W. Harrell, March 18, 1860. To this union was born 4 children, two sons and two daughters. She leaves a husband, one son Edgar Harrell and one daughter, Mrs. John Holmes, one sister in Montana, one brother in the north part of the state and one brother in Nebr. The last named brother, with his wife were present at the bedside of his sister, when death claimed her. She united with the Christian union church some sixteen years ago.

Mrs. Harrell was loved and respected by a host of friends. Having been a patient sufferer for over 20 years, she having a loving gentle disposition bore her suffering uncomplainingly. Internment took place on Saturday, March 19, in the Beardsley cemetery in Scott township. Here bedewed with tears of priceless affection all that was mortal of Mrs. Harrell was laid in peaceful repose, there to await the resurrection morn.

Note: Burial was made in the Beem-Beardsley cemetery.
