DEATH OF MRS. ED HYDER

Mrs. Vinnie Twiss Hyder, wife of Ed Hyder, died suddenly Tuesday night while waiting for the train to depart, which was to carry her on a visit to her daughter, Mrs. Albert Benge of Glendale, Calif.

Mrs. Hyder left Winterset Tuesday on the evening train. While she had been subject to slight attacks of heart trouble for some years, she was in usual health. While waiting at the Rock Island station, Mrs. Hyder and the station matron went over to the union depot dining room for luncheon at about eleven o'clock. Mrs. Hyder had just finished her lunch, when she fell to the floor and died almost instantly. Mr. Hyder was notified by telephone at once and left by auto. The body was brought here yesterday evening, and the funeral will be held Friday at the Presbyterian church at 2 o'clock.

Mrs. Hyder was a most estimable woman, a prominent worker in the Woman's Relief Corps. Her sudden death comes as a profound shock to her many friends and her loved ones. She leaves, besides her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Hazel Benge of Glendale and one sister, Mrs. Idlewild Catterlin of Winterset.
