C. H. Beeber Dead -

Carl H., one of the pioneers of this county and also one of the leading farmers and stock raisers for many years, died at his home ten miles northwest of here this morning of cancer of the stomach, from which he has suffered for some time.

He was among the early residents of this county having located here about 35 years ago and has been one of the leading upbuilders of the community. Had he lived another month he would have been 63 years old.

Besides his many warm friends, he leaves a wife, two sons and three daughters. They being, Edward J. who lives on the home place having had charge of the farm; Henry, who lives near Macksburg, Mrs. F. A. Darnell, of Burlington; and Mrs. Claude Porter and Mrs. Lee Porter, who live near Macksburg.

The funeral services will be held at the home Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock.

Note: The Beeber family lived in Madison County from 1882 to 1883. Mr. Beeber died Sept. 25, 1912 in Union Co. Iowa. Obit was submitted by Shirley from Union County, Iowa.
