HARRY D. TOMLIN, Norwalk

Harry D. Tomlin, 95, passed from this life on Friday, October 16, 2009 at Regency Care Center.

Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at the Norwalk United Methodist Church with inurnment in Highland Cemetery at Churdan, Iowa.

There will be no visitation.

Harry was born on August 29, 1914 in Fort Supply, Oklahoma the son of Harry DeLance and Stella (Warble) Tomlin. He served in the United States Navy during WWII.

Harry and his wife Faye lived in Winterset before moving to Norwalk in 1979. He owned Harry's Meat and Cheese Shop in Norwalk.

Harry was a member of the Norwalk and Cumming American Legion and the Norwalk United Methodist Church.

Survivors include son Jerry (Robbie) Tomlin of Bastrop, Louisiana, brother Clyde Tomlin of Sante Fe, New Mexico, two grandchildren, five great- grandchildren, one nephew and one niece.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents and wife Faye Stotts Tomlin on January 6, 2003.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Norwalk United Methodist Church.
