Mrs. Hazel L. Leach of St. Charles died Friday, Nov. 11, 1966, in Warren county. She was 60 years of age.
Mrs. Leach was a native of Winterset, where she was born June 27, 1906, a dauaghter of Thomas and Bessie Clark McCauley. Her early life was spent in this community. She also lived eight years in Adair county. She had lived in Warren county for 21 years. For the last 12 years she had worked as a cook at the St. Marys school.
She was married to Mack Leach on Nov. 7, 1925. His death occurred in 1962.
She was a member of the St. Marys Community club, and the St. Charles Methodist Church.
Surviving are a son, Phillip W. Leach of St. Charles; five grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Lambert Brommel of St Charles; and three brothers, Merle McCauley of Hawthorne, Calif., Garold McCauley of Ackworth, and Donald McCauley of Indianola.
Funeral services were held Monday from the St. Charles Methodist church, conducted by the Rev. James Louk. Burial was made in the St. Charles cemetery.
