Andrew Smith Cleveland, was born in Cayuga county, New York, and died in Jefferson township, Madison county, Iowa, August 31, 1901, aged 83 years. He was married to Miss Lucy Wheeler in Cattaraugus county, New York, in 1840. Three children were born to them, Emily, Harriet A. and Aaron E., all of whom are living in this county. He moved to Madison county twenty years ago. He was a member of the United Brethren church, which he joined in early manhood. His funeral services were conducted by Rev. L. E. Follansbee at the U. B. church in Jefferson township, on Sunday afternoon and attended by a large congregation of neighbors and friends.

Andrew Smith Cleveland was born in Cayuga county, New York and died in Jefferson township, Madison county, Iowa, August 31, 1901, aged eighty-three years. He was married to Lucy Wheeler in 1840 and leaves three children all of whom reside in this county. He came to Madison county twenty years ago and was a highly respected citizen. He was buried from the North River U.B. church, of which he was a member, on Sunday afternoon. His funeral sermon was preached by Rev. L. E. Follansbee.

Andrew Smith Cleveland was born in Cayuga county, N.Y. and died in Jefferson township Madison county Ia., August 31, 1901, aged 83 years. He was married to Lucy Wheeler in 1840 and leaves three children all of whom reside in this county. He moved to Madison county twenty years ago and was a highly respected citizen. In early life he joined the united Brethren church and remained a faithful member until death. His funeral sermon was preached by Rev. L. E. Follansbee on Sunday afternoon at the North River U. B. church and the services were attended by a large congregation of friends and neighbors.
