Mr. John Lafferty, the father of Mrs. C. W. Eastman, who has been ill for several months at his daughter’s home, died Saturday evening. A short service was held Monday afternoon, conducted by Dr. Ely, and the remains were taken by Mrs. Eastman to their former home in Ohio.

Jno. Lafferty’s Death

Jno. Lafferty, father of Mrs. C. W. Eastman, died at the home of the latter in this city Sunday evening Oct. 15th. Short funeral services were conducted at the residence Monday afternoon by Rev. Dr. Ely, and Mrs. Eastman accompanied the remains to Bellville, Ohio, for interment.
