Barney and Vicinity

Died, Thursday of last week, the infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Burgan. The funeral occurred on Friday and the remains were interred in the Union cemetery in Clarke county.

Local Pickups - Obituary

Died, Wednesday July 26, 1899, the infant child of Mr. and Mrs. John Burgan at their home near Barney, age 12 days. The little one was laid to rest in the Saints cemetery amidst the tears and bleeding hearts. Thus death has gained another victory, but it has taken the soul back to the allseeing God, which gave it, and when the beautiful grass waves over the little mound, it waves over nothing less spotless than itself.
The bereaved have the sympathy of the entire neighborhood.
