Tuesday, May 6, 2008ST. HELENA, SC - Delbert (Bert) E. Shipman, 47, husband of Paula Mostyn Shipman, died Friday, May 2, 2008 at the Medical University of S.C., in Charleston, S.C.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial service will be held 5-7 p.m., Friday at the residence of Craig and Christy Henry.

ST. HELENA, S.C. - Delbert Shipman, 47, of St. Helena, S.C., passed away May 2, 2008, at the Medical University of Charleston South Carolina.
Delbert was born on Oct. 23, 1960, in Fort Dodge, the youngest son of Dick and Helen Shipman.
Surviving are his wife, Paula, St. Helena, S.C.; three sons, Michael Mostyn and Andrew Shipman, both of Beaufort, S.C., and Geoffrey Shipman, of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; two daughters, Jennifer Mostyn and Megan Carter and son-in-law, Matt Carter, all of Beaufort, S.C.; three brothers, Samuel Shipman, of N.C.; Rocky, of Winterset, Jim, of Norwalk; one sister, Melody Jones, of Loveland, Colo.; two granddaughters MeChelle and Maiya.
He was preceded in death by parents of Dick and Helen Shipman, grandparents Sam and Edna Shipman, Orvile and Ida Garrett, and nephew Eric Shipman.
