Sgt. Gene Dodd, husband of Mrs. Gene Dodd, of Truro, has been killed in action, according to word received by her last Thursday. He had previously been reported missing in action.

He is survived by his wife, Kathryn, a son, Jerry, a daughter, Judy, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Dodd, a sister, Barbara of Macks Creek, Mo., and a brother, Pfc. Robert Dodd of the U.S. Marines.
