NANNIE LINK KALE

Nannie Kale was born August 26, 1879, and died February 8, 1924.

Her parents, John and Eleanor Link, spent the most of their married life on a farm nine miles north of Winterset. Here Nannie was born and grew to womanhood.

In the year 1900 she with her parents moved to Winterset. The following year her mother died and for several years Nannie kept house for her father. She was married to Fred Kale, August 8, 1906. To this union was born one child, Thelma.

When but a young girl she was converted and joined the Methodist church at Fairview. Her membership was later transferred to the church at Winterset where she was a faithful member until her death.

Her husband and daughter, her aged father, her brother Tom and other relatives mourn her loss. Besides these there are a host of friends who will long cherish the memory of her of whom it may be truly said: None knew her but to love her, None named her but to praise.

Funeral services were held in the Methodist church on Monday, with D. J Shelton in charge.
