Page 3Myrtle Satterlee Dies at 91 Years
Mrs. Myrtle A. Satterlee Of Winterset died Friday, May 5, at Madison Manor here. She was 91 Years of age.
Mrs. Satterlee was a life-time resident of Madison county. She was a daughter of W. R. and Jane Bare Jones, and was born at Winterset Nov 15, 1880. She was married here Nov 29, 1900, to Eugene Satterlee. He preceded her in death.
Mrs. Satterlee was a member of the Lutheran church.
She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Beulah Travis of Winterset; five sons, Orvel Satterlee of St. Charles, Oren Satterlee of Portland, Ore., Max Satterlee of Peru, Howard Satterlee of Peru, and Burdette Satterlee Of Moline, Ill. She also leaves 10 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday from the Collins Funeral home in Winterset, conducted by the Rev. Earl Swigart of Norwalk. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
