North Jefferson

Herman Bernau, a well known citizen of Jefferson township, passed away July 7th, after a couple of weeks illness. He was laid to rest in the German cemetery.

Jefferson Township

The death angel which has been hovering over our vicinity for a short time entered on Wednesday evening, July 11th, at 10 o’clock, the home of Herman Bernau and claimed the father who has been a patient sufferer for a few weeks. He will be sadly missed, not only in is own home but by his associates. The bereaved family have the entire sympathy of the community in their sad and lonely hours.
