MARILYN A. GAMBRALL, DES MOINES

Marilyn A. Gambrall passed away peacefully on June 5, 2009, at Bright Kavanagh House with family at her bedside. She was well loved and touched many through her 76 years. She was a full-time Great-Grandmother, Grandmother, Mother and employee of Prairie Meadows. Marilyn was a one-of-a-kind “boss” of the family and jokingly reminded everyone of that fact up to the very end. She’ll be cherished and missed.

Services were held in Des Moines at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St., on Monday, June 8, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. and a Life Celebration and luncheon followed at 12:30 p.m. in Winterset at Winterset Community Church. Visitation was held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for contributions to the Marilyn Gambrall Memorial Fund through Union State Bank in Winterset, IA. All contributions will benefit The Bright Kavanagh House.
