Charles Hutchison, 87, died at the Union Park Health Services on December 30, 2004. He was born June 30, 1917 in North Dakota and lived many years in the Earlham, Iowa area. He was attached to the 8th Air Force stationed in England during WWII. He retired from Armstrong Tire Co. where he was employed over 20 years. He was a member of the Earlham Friends church, the VFW and Local 164.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Virginia Hutchison and a sister, Alice.

Charles is survived by his daughter, Diane of Des Moines; son, Patrick of Georgia; two brothers, Earl of Durango, Colorado, and John of Des Moines; and a sister Kay Trimble of Corydon, Iowa.

The body was cremated and graveside services will be held at a later date with burial in the Earlham Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to the Earlham Friends Church.
