Henry Beerbower, who until lately lived at this place, died at his home in Norwalk, of pneumonia fever on Tuesday, March 13. He was a highly respected citizen, and leaves many friends in this community to regret his loss.

Page 2, Column 2Henry Beerbower was born in Wayne county, Ohio Dec. 12, 1842. At the age of 8 years with his parents he moved to Indiana. Twelve years after he moved to Sandyville, Iowa, remaining there until breaking out of the war.
At the age of 19 he enlisted serving his country faithfully four years. He was discharged Aug. 15, 1865.
He was united in marriage May 27, 1866, to Anna E. Hubbard. To the union was born four children, two sons and two daughters three of whom were present at his death which occurred March 13.
He was converted in 1866 and joined the M. E. church, of which he remained a member until his death. The church has lost an efficient member, the wife a loving husband and the children a kind father.
The funeral was held at Norwalk, Thursday, Rev. W. W. Williams and Rev. George H. Crafts officiating.
