Shirley L. Graham, 79, of Orient, died Thursday, June 19, 2003 at Greater Community Hospital in Creston. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 21 at the Orient United Methodist Church in Orient, with Rev. Lucy Elrick officiating. Burial will be in Moon Cemetery in Macksburg.

Shirley was born on April 20, 1924 in Glendale, Calif. to Louis and Iva B. (Darby) Hayman. She had lived in Orient since 1947. On July 12, 1947, she married Wyman L. Graham in Pasadena, CA. She had worked as a music teacher until her retirement in May of 1986. She was a member of Orient United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Wyman Graham of Orient two sons, Kenneth Graham and wife Rosalie of Orient and William Graham and wife Alma of Orient a daughter, Mary Weinstein and husband Rob of Hopkinton, MA four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Marilyn McCullough.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at Steen Funeral Home in Greenfield, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made tot he Orient United Methodist Church.
