Wednesday, September 7, 1898From the Fairhaven, Wash., World-Herald, we learn the following particulars of the sad and sudden death of Mrs. Amelia Bevington:
Death of MRS. AMELIA BEVINGTON
Mrs. S. G. Bevington died at the home of her parents, on Fourteenth street, Tuesday night, of neuralgia of the heart. She had not been well for sometime, but her friends did not realize that her condition was so serious.
Mr. Bevington returned to Fairhaven a month ago, and they were just about to begin housekeeping, with their two children, when the fatal disease called away the wife and mother. Mrs. Bevington was 42 years of age. She leaves a father and mother, husband and two children.
The funeral took place yesterday afternoon. Rev. J. Lawrie, of the Presbyterian church officiating. The remains were buried in Bay View cemetery.
