Death has again visited our community twice in one week. Miss Janie Wilcox passed away July 12, 1904 and was laid to rest in the Roberts cemetery.

On Monday evening Miss Jane Wilcox passed away, after being a sufferer from consumption for over a year, aged 30 years and 26 days. The funeral services were held at the home conducted by Rev. Tourtleot and the remains were laid to rest in the Roberts cemetery.

Note: Janie was the daughter of Archibald and Sarah (Roberts) Wilcox.
