Marjorie Ann Adams, 82, of Arvada, Colo., died Jan. 14, 2009, at Exempla Lutheran Home in Arvada after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s.
Marjorie was born in Winterset, Iowa, on March 26, 1926, to Jack and Blanche Adams. She graduated from Winterset High School in 1944 and received her registered nursing degree from Iowa Methodist Hospital.
Marjorie was a Lt. NC in the United States Naval Reserves, stationed at Camp Pendleton, Calif. She held many nursing positions and ended her career as a medical claims processor.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Marilynn.
Marjorie is survived by her sister, Marty, and her brother-in-law, Gene, along with many nephews, nieces and their spouses and also numerous great-nephews and great-nieces.
