Funeral services for Mrs. Vira Waltz of Stockton, Calif., were held Saturday, Sept. 2, from the Collins Funeral home in Winterset, conducted by the Rev. Newton Coughenour, pastor of the first United Methodist church of Winterset. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
Mrs. Waltz death had occurred Aug. 29 at Stockton, Calif., where she had lived the last 20 years. She was 79 years of age.
Mrs. Waltz was the former Vira Graspy, daughter of William and Judy Hamner Graspy. She was born in Madison county July 30, 1893, lived here until she moved to California.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Velma Flom of Stockton and four brothers, Forrest Graspy of Red Oak, Everett Graspy of Des Moines, Wallace Graspy of Bevington, and Ivan Graspy of Lodi, California.
