Harry Wight Died Last Night At Lewistown

Once again the Grim Reaper has appeared and the name of another pioneer has been erased from the ever lessening roll, taking Harry Wight, a well known resident of the Moore section, who passed away at his home in Lewistown last night after a long illness.

Harry Wight was born in Madison county, Iowa, November 18, 1864.

In 1884 his parents and their eleven children left Iowa for Montana and located on Antelope creek, southwest of Hobson, where his father took up a homestead and developed the same into a ranch.

He was united in marriage to Misa Aura K. Jellison and to this union five children were born, two of whom preceded him in death.

For several years he worked as a ranch hand on the Belden and Goodell ranches and for E. J. Morrison at Old Philbrook. Shortly after his
marriage he purchased land on Ross Fork and operated the same for 17 years before moving to the ranch 3 miles north of Moore.

Besides his widow he is survived by three children, Teddy, Harold and Aura; four brothers, Fred and Ed of Carbon, county, Mt. Ralph of Utica, Mt. and William of San Jose. Calif.; four sisters, Mrs. Judith Duffield of Higbee, Mo., Mrs. Maggie Hawson of Olympia, Wash., Mrs. Lizzie Tuggle of Fromberg, Mt. and. Mrs. Jennie Higham, of Belfry, Mt.

We have been unable at this to obtain any information as to when funeral services will be held.
