Obituary

Weldon H. Cook, son of Bernard and Verle Cook, was born in St. Charles, on April 20, 1925 and departed this life on June 24, 1977 in Evanston, Ill., after a short illness.

He graduated from Earlham High School and attended William Penn College and University of Iowa, graduating with a degree in business administration. During the war, he spent some time in civilian public service.

He was married to Ruth Morrow on June 10, 1957 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. He and Ruth have made their home in Wilmette, Ill.

Weldon and his brother, Robert, have been engaged as building contractors in the Chicago area for a number of years.

He is a member of the Earlham Friends church. His life has always been a good example of Christian living.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Marvin. Relatives surviving are his wife Ruth; his parents; one brother Robert of Skokie, Illinois; and two sisters, Carlene and Doris, of Des Moines, and many other relatives and friends.
