Death of Mrs. Hannah Sipple

Mrs. Hannah Sipple, of Beaver Creek, departed this life June 10, 1898, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E. S. Smith, with whom she lived since their marriage.

She was born in Clarksville, Mercer County, Pa., in 1842. In 1863 she united in marriage with Frank Sipple and lived in Galesburg, Ill. Six children were born to them, all of whom are living in Montana.

The deceased came to Montana about two years ago, being confined close at home with sickness most of the time. When a young girl she gave her heart to God and joined the United Presbyterian church. In later years she united with the Evangelical church, of which she was a member at the time of her death. She lived a life of faith, in the full triumph of which she died in peace. She was a woman loved and honored by all who knew her. The family sustains a great loss, but hopes to meet again in the land of peace and joy.

A funeral sermon was preached by her request from the 14th of John's gospel by Rev. Vigus of the M.E. church. The funeral was large, and the remains were interred in the cemetery of the Methodist church, Beaver Creek, to await the coming of Christ."
