Grace Stegall was born November 30, 1889 to James R. and Azelpha Roselma Cox. She passed away August 1, 1972 at Maple Linn Manor where she had resided for the last several years.

Grace was born in Madison County where she grew to womanhood. In December 1906 she was married to Sol M. Stegall. To this union five children were born, James, Glen, Harry, Goldie and Lloyd.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, brothers Ed, Everett, and Charles, two children, son James and daughter Goldie. Also an infant brother Willie and sister Mae.

She leaves to mourn 3 sons and their wives, Glen and Harry of Earlham and Lloyd of LeGrand, six grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, one sister, Linda Marston of Dexter, and several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
