Karen McGee, 37, of Des Moines died Nov. 11, 2008, at Taylor House.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 15, at Merle Hay Funeral Home in Des Moines with Pastor Wes Foster officiating.
Karen McGee was born Sept. 15, 1971, in Des Moines to Thomas A. and Alberta K. (Howard) Jones. She attended school at Hills, Meredith and Hoover High, graduating in 1990. Karen moved to Winterset, then back to Des Moines and worked at Luther and Union Baptist Nursing Home. In 1997, she married Victor McGee.
She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents.
She is survived by her husband, Vic; one son, Terrance; her mother, Alberta; and two sisters, Cindy Behlers and Kathy Ely.
