November 1972Dennis Bruce Clements was born December 30, 1950, at the Madison County Memorial hospital in Winterset, Iowa. He departed from this life on November 22, 1972 at the age of 21 years, 10 months, and 22 days.
Dennis was a 1969 graduate of the Earlham High School and was an active participant in many school activities. He loved music and especially enjoyed the hours he spent with his saxophone and the dance band.
Dennis lived his entire life in Madison County where his undying love for cattle and country living developed at an early age, and continued to grow stronger through the years. He was an active 4-H member and had continued his study of Animal Science at Oklahoma A & M Junior College, and at Iowa State University where he was presently enrolled as a senior. Dennis’s varied interests continued through his college days. At Oklahoma A. & M Junior College he was a member of the student senate.
Dennis was a great lover of life and people. His smile and interest in others won him a host of friends. He will be deeply missed by many. He leaves to mourn, his parents Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Clements, and three sisters, Mrs. Diana Partlow of Menlo, Iowa, Darcy and Deborah at home, his grandparents and many other relatives and friends.
