Obituary

Albert Cyrus Bechtel, son of John and Jane Bechtel, was born near Milligan, Nebraska, December 13, 1886 and passed away at a hospital in Des Moines, May 8, 1947. At the time of his death he was 61 years old. For several years he made his home with a sister, Eva Haney.

He is survived by two brothers, Elmer, of Olney, Illinois; John of Des Moines, and five sisters: Sadie Kirkpatrick of Mason City; Bertha Thompson of Waurika, Oklahoma; Lula Thompson of Ottumwa; Clara Hodson of Forest City; Elsie Pray of Des Moines, and numerous nieces and nephews to whom he was very devoted.

Funeral services were held at the Welch funeral home Sunday afternoon at 2:00. Burial was in the Earlham cemetery.
