Mrs. Eppard’s life has been a heavenly benediction to her home, the bonds of which have been so suddenly broken only to be united again beyond the valley of the shadow of death; where the Star of Bethlehem shines in eternal glory.

The funeral services were conducted from the University Place Church of Christ by Dr. Charles S. Medbury, on Thursday at half after two o’clock. Interment was made in the Waveland cemetery.

The, funeral services were conducted from the University Place Church of Christ by. Dr. Charles S, Medbury on Thursday at half after two o'clock. Interment was made in the Waveland cemetery.

The congregation at Early Chapel prayerfully tender their deepest sympathy to Mr. Eppard in this, his time of sorrow. Our hearts, too, have been touched to their very depths with this note of sadness. The face which wore that sweet christian smile will no more be seen among us. The hands and heart which so untiringly did the will of the Master are now asleep in Jesus. Having been blessed with the richness of her Christ-like life, heaven now seems to be very near us. Mrs. Eppard cannot return to us, but the blessed privilege is ours of going to her, where we shall mingle together throughout the ages of eternity and behold the Master face to face.
