Donald V. Algreen, age 80 died at the Veterans Hospital in Knoxville on October 19, 2008. Memorial services will be at 6:00 pm Thursday October 23, 2008 at the American Legion Hall in Earlham with burial of cremains in the Earlham Cemetery at a later date. Donald was a farmer, mechanic and a bus driver during his working career.
He is survived by his daughter Kathryn Algreen and granddaughter Holly Algreen both of Pasadena, Ca; grandsons Paul Algreen of Boca Raton, Fl and Robert Algreen of Phoenix, Az; and brother Lonnie Algreen of Martensdale, Ia.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents Vern and Edith, his wife, Irma, sons Mike and Jimmy Lee, and brother Lloyd Algreen.
Memorials may be directed to the Earlham American Legion Scholarship Fund.
