Services for Margaret Snyder, 91, Patterson, who died June 18, 1989, at her residence, will be held Thursday, June 22, at 2:00 p.m. at the Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Jones officiating. Burial will be at the Brethren Cemetery at Dallas Cener.
Born at Underwood, N.D., on December 21, 1897, she was the daughter of Charles F. and Rosalia Langer Hassler. She was married to William W. Snyder on March 15, 1916 at Underwood.
A homemaker, she had lived around Patterson since 1940 and moved from the farm into Patterson in 1962.
Survivors include sons, Raymond of Linden, Duane of Winterset and Larry of Phoenix, Ariz.; daughters, Rosalee Crawford of Santa Rosa, Calif., Pearl "Dolly" Greenslade of Adel, Dorothy Watters of Dallas Center, Doris Greenslade of Phoenix, Ariz., and Violet Hawk of Phoenix, sisters, Minnie Stadick of Underwood and Ethel Souther of Lewiston, Ida.; 23 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two children, two grandsons, five brothers and three sisters.
