Infant Son Dies Suddenly

The home of Mr. and Mrs. David Pierce was saddened Wednesday morning when they found their infant son dead in his crib.

The baby was two months old. He had his 3:00 a.m. feeding and appeared to be normal. It is thought that death was due to pneumonia and suffocation.

Prayer services will be held at Evans Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon with burial in the Earlham cemetery.

Mr. Pierce is the new owner of the Earlham Café.

A group of Earlham business men are receiving contributions instead of flowers for the Pierce family. Anyone wishing to participate may leave their contribution at the Earlham Savings Bank.
