Mrs. Cole, mother of John Cole, in the northeast part of town, died on Monday morning at 9:30, at the age of eighty-five. The funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, and were conducted by Rev. Jacobs. The body was buried in the old Baptist cemetery, northeast of town.

Mrs. Cole, mother of J. S. W. Cole, died at the home of her son Monday, and was buried Tuesday from the residence. She was 83 years old, a much respected and lovable woman.
