Died, at his residence some four miles northeast of Truro, Tuesday evening, March 5th, 1898, Mr. J. T. Coletrane, aged 53 years.
The funeral services were conducted from the house by the Masonic lodge of Truro, of which he was a charter member. They were assisted by the New Virginia and St. Charles lodges, over one hundred Masons being in attendance. The beautiful Masonic funeral ceremony was performed in an impressive manner and the remains laid to rest in the New Virginia cemetery.
