Mrs. Lulu B. Glenn died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 1961, at Madison county Memorial hospital in Winterset, after an extended illness. She was 71 years of age.
Mrs. Glenn was a lifetime resident of Madison county. She was the former Lulu Bell Cummins, daughter of Tom and Elizabeth Alexander Cummins, and was born at Winterset, March 6, 1890. On April 12, 1917 she was married to Willis Dean Glenn of this community. His death occurred on Feb. 4 of this year.
She was a member of the First Christian church of Winterset. She was affiliated with Crown Rebekah lodge here and with the W. W. club.
She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Armstrong of Winterset, two grandsons and two brothers, Will and Charles Cummins of Winterset.
Funeral services were held Friday from the Collins Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Robert A. Owens, pastor of the First Christian church. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
