Funeral services were held Friday, from the Clark Wilson Funeral home for Mrs. Russell Stuart of Winterset, whose death had occurred Dec. 9 at University hospital in Iowa City.

Mrs. Stuart was a life-long resident of this community. She was the former Nellie J. Wright, daughter of LeRoy and Daisy Howard Wright, and was born at Winterset March 29, 1918. She was married at Trenton, Mo., on Aug. 20, 1940, to Russell Stuart, who survives her.

In addition to her husband she leaves five daughters, Dulsey Y. Stuart of Winterset, Mrs. Lois M. Moore of Carson City, Nev., Mrs. Ruth E. Hircock of Plattsmouth, Nebr., and Barbara J. and Lora L. Stuart at home.

She also leaves two grandchildren; a brother, Everette Wright of Winterset; and four sisters, Mrs. Mable Brobst and Mrs. Ethel Hilderbrand of Winterset, Mrs. Grace Jackson of Des Moines, and Mrs. Lora Harsh of Newton.

The Rev. Eldon E. Jandebeur, pastor of the First Christian church of Winterset, conducted the services. Burial was made in Kings cemetery in Scott township.
